bruce282
I have a 550B with the new style powder measure. Just how tight should the hex headed attaching bolts be ? I normally just finger tighten them, but thought I should check it out. Also, the thumb-screw on the shaft likes to work itself loose, I guess that explains why when I bought it there was a rubber band around it. HSMITH
Just snug enough that they won't come loose.
dillon
Tighten the screws with an allen wrench so that they don't come loose. It isn't a small block chevy, no need to torque them down. Are you referring to the blue wing nut on the failsafe rod? If yes, phone Dillon and we will send a replacement steel tinnerman insert for it. slavex
even with the insert on mine, I just loktited it in place, as it still kept working free.

The manufacturer jumps in with instructions and the offer of free replacement parts if you might need them!
