dajarrel
Whoever the monument is for was apparently quite a horse lover. It appears that he/she was possibly a polo player as well looking at the chest area of the horse. It's a pretty neat statue. dj
AikiDale
Actually the horse is not a part of nor in the cemetery. Several years ago as a charity fund raising event these horses, each quite different, were painted by local artists and auctioned off. I believe they called it Gallopaloosa. This particular steed graces (grazes?) the lawn of a business adjacent the cemetery and I couldn't resist the shot.

Glockster35
The town I live in does pigs, there are 10 of them spread throughout the city, each painted in a different manner. These pigs are on the property of businesses, and they exchange locations each year. Each year there is a contest for people to find the locations of all ten pigs, and identify the artisitc painting of each.
