I actually think having an invitational for the top 32 shooters in the country would be a sweet deal. Could make the match a type of marathon. The same 10 stages shot 4 days in a row or something like it or the 10 stages shot twice in one day and twice the next.

Now your talking.......and make the Steel Challenge the qualifier....it would make the shoot offs look small by comparison, if getting into the top 32 got you to the invitational.

Mark & Jake,

Smith & Wesson Pro-Am was like that. Amateurs shot to get into the "money round" with the pros and then the stages were a par time, 10-round mag, skins match.

Mark - As for squadding together, that'd be great. I plan on being in the low 90's to the mid-80's though for my FIRST Steel Challenge.

wow...nice shooting. i couldn't put 5 shots on a cardboard target 5 yards in front of me as fast as you were doing those runs!
