shooterbenedetto Posted June 17, 2006 Share Posted June 17, 2006 need votes..what sunday match would you go to shoot an IPSC match? 1st sunday, second.etc... thinkin of about 5 stages..for $20.00 start at 8am finish at 10:30 am was planning to have a meeting before shooting and have everyone help in braking down the stage. hoping to finish by 12:00pm everyone would be home by 1:00 to 2:00pm on a sunday and spend time with family. Blockhead Posted June 17, 2006 Share Posted June 17, 2006 SoCall is a big place. Chuck, maybe what you meant is Northwestern LA (Simi Valley, SanFernando, Ventura, etc...) ?? Shooter, if the interest is there go for it!!! We all need to support any club/section that's seeking to develope another range as an appropriate (and willing) venue for USPSA shooting. Lord knows we're under pressure most everywhere else. Between ranges being closed due to residential encroachment and the pressure coming from other shooting disciplines, the future isn't gonna get any easier for our sport. We (LDF) have a regular 2nd and 4th Saurday match at Pala just south of Temecula (in addition to 1st Sat. in Alpine near San Diego). Jojo also has his Running Gun Match in Norco most every Saturday. Let us know how it goes. We'll try to come visit you if we get a free weekend. Our A2 Director, Chris Endersby, lives in O.C. He's always a great source for advise and suggestions. davecutts Posted June 17, 2006 Share Posted June 17, 2006 (edited) 2nd sunday. oh yeah tomorrow 06/18/06 Hosers: Get your kids up early to make you breakfast, then grab your pistolas and head out to Prado for our monthly IPSC match. Notice how I didn't call them lazy. Anyway for all you dads we are going to ditch the short stages and the classifier this month for a lot more rounds. Look for six or seven 20 to 30 round stages. Do not despair there will still be tight hard and long shots, so make sure that pistola is sighted in, and bring extra ammo. Okay there might be some hosing, or ... well what's more than some but less than a lot?
