warpspeed
A couple of weeks ago I slipped and fell and reached out to break my fall and in the process broke my hand. The x-ray was inconclusive to the urgent care doc but the orthopedic hand guy at Keck saw it right away. No nerve damage so at least there is that. 3-6 weeks in a splint. I tried holding a gun and the rifle / shotgun is a no-go. I can only imagine the pain from a handgun. Edited February 16 by warpspeed

Dr. Phil
Sorry to hear this. Might be a good thing though? A few years ago a good friend blew out his strong side shoulder. No shooting for several months. He started coming to matches shooting weak hand only. He got blown out as you might imagine! At the end of his healing, though, he could now shoot either hand, well, and completely ambidextrous! Maybe try the other hand for your shooting relaxation? Heal fast!
Farmer
If we were all like Samone Biles we wouldn’t have to think about all this stuff when we trip up. Just do a triple and land it. I find myself really paying attention when crawling around on equipment anymore. Be safe and heal well.
