falconew
So I decided to get a JM Pro 940. Had my local shop order it in last week. Went there today to pick it up. Went out to dinner then home. Got home pulled it out and noticed something fishy. Racked it back and hmm brass marks ? No can’t be. Took it apart and looked at it more. Oh yeah definitely been fired a bit. I know my shop would not do that. So tomorrow I am going to call mossberg and see if it was a returned gun. You spend 1000$ on a shotgun thinking it’s new and it’s not what are some other options around that price range. Will add some for a better option. https://imgur.com/a/XqKsoaq https://imgur.com/a/hUnHlK5 https://imgur.com/a/gsc6UGS Edited November 3, 2023 by falconew
Nolan
Looks just like my 930 looked when I bought it. I think Mossberg runs a full tube of ammo through it, packs it up without cleaning it and ships it. Nolan
TonytheTiger
This just proves that it actually functions. Truly a best case scenario when buying a Mossberg.
kurtm
Well...... Even I can take a shell and rake it across the points where it would hit IF it were to function to make you think it functioned! Once got a high end rifle, with test target (man that was one accurate test target) except for one problem, the damn thing had never been finished reamed. It wouldn't chamber a single cartridge. To the tune of 50 thousandths short!
mike.45
Probably as accurate as my JP when my best buddy loads me .222 rounds for it ….
kurtm
Wow after all these years! I would point out it was VERY accurate, it just took you and 3 specialists to get the round out of the rifle. A manly man would have mortared that J.P. so hard that the muzzle brake would have come out the chamber too. No Army guys needed
falconew
Update. Took it back and ordered a Benelli M2. Right out of the box ran like a top. Wow. 3 shots 1.07 seconds
