  1. I know you speak ‘European’ …. As long as it’s Spanish …..
  2. Probably as accurate as my JP when my best buddy loads me .222 rounds for it ….
  3. I posted this topic in the gear section, but maybe it’s more appropriate here ?!? I have the old style DA Race master holster with the tensioning knob, but want to replace the insert to make it compatible with another gun. Will their new magnetic insert just drop into the old frame ? They look identical apart from the hole the tension bar has in the sides of the holster. I have emailed them the question, but no reply so far !! thanks !! mike

  6. Need to get back to this match after 8 years of absence..... when does registration open ?!?
  7. Well listen to Mr Fancy Pants, how about a little hot chocolate for ya ?? ? Benelli's never break..... but when they do and you ask an Italian Benelli rep to fix it they say they never break, if its broken its just your fault...... but if they do break (which they never do according to the Rep...) .... the fault is just that you Americans just go and shoot them too much...... First ever IPSC European Shotgun Championships in Italy 2003 Kurt Miller 3rd overall Good times !
  8. Miss you crazy kids……. Hopefully out next year for a match, maybe (probably) RM3G - love that match !! A new baby / toddler / child who is now 3 1/2 sure does put a dampener on international jet setting shooting 3 gun ! Last time i saw EricM I was almost lynched in a gas station in western New Mexico on route to SMM3G when I shouted an Emilio Estevez 'Billy the Kid' quote from Young Guns at him over the reservation gas station yard. I am from deepest Southern England……..How was I to know all the native americans all around me were Navahos !!!!! His face was a picture
  9. If EricM is going best all the Brits brush up on their 007 quotes……. I hate it when a goofy tall gangly guy with a bad moustache and just awful British accent knows more Bond quotes than me !! :-/ Fear the left hand.
  10. So having shot RM3G in 2004 that means I actually got to shoot the 2nd ever RM3G match ?? Cool ! Still have the t shirt and hangover 11 years later :-)
  11. The match looked awesome !! I hope to be there next year with then pre Ft Benning Party Crew...... The videos are great, but one question I had is on stage 8, the staged rifle and then pistol on low poppers, after the shoot command could you move or did you have to wait for the beep to move away from the staged rifle ? Jessie shot that thing and was gone like a scalded cat, but the other guy sat there until the RO sounded the beep and it seemed to imply that he had to wait there prior to moving.... or was that an interpretation of the briefing ?
  12. What Jim says - at 8am gloves, coats and hats are normally needed, by 10am things warm up nicely..... based on 4 years shooting the match that is..... mind you I remember it once snowed in Mesa in April......
  13. I know those guys !!! One is kinda goofy in a cool way and knows a lot of james Bond quotes, the other.... well he's just plain weird .......... ....that's a Smith & Wesson; and you've had your six.... Yey !!!!!

  16. Squash daily and yoga (And beer)
  17. Steel has to fall to score - if they used clays then thats a different matter entirely !
  18. Ok thanks Guys - that really helpful. So I am kinda there, just need to get if fixed in my head. Alaska the photo really helps as my mind works that way !! What zero did you have on the gun BTW ? Mark, thats exactly the info I need mate, however my zero will be at 200m, how would that affect your data there ... ?? Its info like this that makes this website so great ...thanks !
  19. Newbie rifle shooter question, so please forgive me. I have little experiance of canting my rifle at any significant distance and observing the point of impact but think I have the basic understanding so wanted to do a sanity check. If you cant your rifle at 45 degrees to the left (so the scope is to the left side of the vertical) my understanding is that the round will drop low and left of the point of aim, so the correct point of aim should be high right on the target. Likewise if the rifle is canted 45 degrees to the right, with the scope the right side of the vertical the bullet will drop low right, so the correct point of aim is high left.... Please correct me if I am wrong here !! If my rifle is zeroed at 200m and I am shooting a 10 inch flash target at 100m with a 45 degree cant I figure my cross hairs will be on the actual target at the 2 or 10 o'clock position depending on the left / right cant. At 200m I figure my point of aim with a 45 degree cant would be on the edge of the target, or just off the edge ? left or right at 2 or 10 o'clock. Am I about right with this ? What I dont know is where my point of aim should be with the rifle at 90 degrees left or right like on a car hood, at those distances. I must admit I dont think I would cant my rifle at 90 degrees to the right on a hard surface as I forsee issues there, but may have to do it through an apature like a VTac or under a car etc ! Any help and advice would be appreciated Thanks Mike
