He said when he seen them like that, that they could jam up. And after measuring both of them he was thinking they were cut differently. Rather glad he did not maching on the slide to fit the island barrel just in case I have to return it.

I took my tri-top slide down to my gun builder today. He told me this slide will not work with the KKM island barrel I have. He said he would have to use a regular barrel and bushing in it. As you can see in the pictures inside the slide it’s cut about .850 from the end of the slide second picture is same manufacturer as my slide and it’s about 1.3 from the end. Third slide is his and no marks in it. Call the manufacturer of the slide and let them know ? Update. Took it back and ordered a Benelli M2. Right out of the box ran like a top. Wow. 3 shots 1.07 seconds

So I decided to get a JM Pro 940. Had my local shop order it in last week. Went there today to pick it up. Went out to dinner then home. Got home pulled it out and noticed something fishy. Racked it back and hmm brass marks ? No can’t be. Took it apart and looked at it more. Oh yeah definitely been fired a bit. I know my shop would not do that. So tomorrow I am going to call mossberg and see if it was a returned gun. You spend 1000$ on a shotgun thinking it’s new and it’s not what are some other options around that price range. Would not be doing the work on the 80%. With that said, spoke with a builder and he suggested just buying a frame compared to him machining it. Plus this is aluminum and will wear out quicker. Makes sense to me. I do like my Para’s. Might cut the top and install a holosun dot and use that for now. Then slowly spend more on the STI and build it right.

Yes sti grip with an 80% aluminum frame. Would it be safe to say since it’s a para I need a para ramp when looking for a frame ? tried posting a picture but saying it’s too large to post.

I have acquired a STI frame and aluminum 80%upper. I am thinking of building it up in 9mm . But definitely want a steel upper instead of aluminum. I have a para double stack now. I also want something with optics since my cataract surgery. Just looking for fun shooting not trying to be #1 just want to have a gun I can grow with and get better. 1. Will any 2011 frame fit that and what ramp ? 2. Will a para slide fit on top without major modifications? 3. Worth building up or add money into my para? 4. What are good red dots. I like a fixed red dot. With a circle ️ around a dot.

yes. He said he didn’t want to get the 1050 or mark 7 yet. Basically he is doing that to test out the water, see if they can make any money doing it. So far they have a deal with a local indoor range to make them ammo. If working out good he said he will upgrade.

I drove 20 minutes down the road to pick mine up. Plus had a buddy that is a manufacturer order me 4000 124gr 9mm last week should be here this week.

My buddy asked me if there is such a thing as an automatic primer feeder that attaches to the press. I guess like a bullet feeder or case feeder. I know there is the Dillon primer feeder and double alpha. But can you hook them up to a press? Has anyone done it? Other options.
