Rich406
So it looks like Sig may have finally done something about the weak button design on the Romeo3. I was looking at a new one I received recently and the buttons are clearly different. They are flatter and actually a bit harder to press. Fingers crossed that the buttons are a bit more durable now. optics mounted on the gun is old design, optic on right is the new. jpeters11
Yeah, that’s what they’ve been sending out for about a month now. Got mine direct from sig on warranty as well.

clw42
Funny, I just received two replacement dots a 6MOA and a 3MOA. The 6 has the new buttons, the 3 has the old style.

Yeah, and I would guess the 3 MOA must be less popular so it's taking them some time to work through them. It doesn't matter to me in the least. When the buttons on this one fail, I'll send it back again. The thing that does irritate me is that Sig is about 20 minutes from me. I asked if I could just go to the pro shop and swap them out and they told me no. I sent the failed dots to Oregon, and the new ones shipped from NH. I do understand that they have a procedure, but it's still annoying...though not the end of the world, they respond pretty quickly. The biggest lag is the shipping from the east coast to Oregon.
