Hi Guys,

Im not sure if this is the place to ask this or not so forgive me if I am out of turn. Would a Fire HD 8 work as SC tablet?  Looking to spend under $100 a unit.

thanks

Yes.  It will work fine.  I use the Fire HD 10".  https://www.amazon.com/Fire-HD-10-tablet/dp/B08BX7FV5L?ref_=nav_signin&  It is just under $100.  The battery lasts all day when using Practiscore.  It readily syncs (Bluetooth) with AMG timers, so you can pull the score at the press of a button.

The 8 will work just as well, but be a little harder to read.  At half the cost, it is a good deal.  https://www.amazon.com/Fire-HD-8-tablet/dp/B07TMJ1R3X/ref=sr_1_1?crid=ML64KW1TAP5A&keywords=fire+hd+8&qid=1652039958&s=amazon-devices&sprefix=fire+hd+8%2Camazon-devices%2C62&sr=1-1  I don't know how long the battery will last.  With my last 8" tablet (not a Fire) I had to bring a booster battery.

I'm running 7 Fire 8 HD's as well, no issues, no fainting in the heat like an iPad. You catch them on sale every once in a while for $50. They run all day on the battery.

just an FYI:  the Android version of PS actually shows your classification percentage for the stage.  I have not seen this on an ipad version (unless there is a setting that needs to be enabled)
