Cowguy
I have an 8 pound jug or tac and an 8 pound jug of 2330 that I can buy. Which one should it be? I’m shooting mostly hornaday 55 fmjbt bullets out of a bolt gun but I want them to work in my stock AR as well.
AHI
TAC would be my recommendation.
Amra86
I would choose Tac as well.
outerlimits
assume you meant AA2230, not 2330. if so, jump on that stuff. meters great, soft shooing and it is great for 55gr pills. have done accuracy tests with lots of powders, and you can have TAC-it's dirty powder. Cowguy
My mistake it’s accurate 2230. Now they have Imr 4198 and accurate 2200 as well. I’ve got a pound of 2200 I’ll be testing it Sunday.

outerlimits
Actually prefer 2200. Turns out a little more accurate, and use less of a powder charge than 2230.
Poseidon215
Tac is a great all around powder that will function well in your AR and Bolt gun. If you want to start tweaking for accuracy then look at heavier projectiles and my two favorite powders are 8208 and Varget.
