engineerjet
So I after 2-3 hours of tumbling I turned off my tumbler then forgot about it overnight. The next morning I decided to run it again for a bit and when I poured the water out the brass looks very dull. Clean...but dull. Is this safe to reload? Is there a can to get the brass shiny at this point or is it a lost cause?
Rnlinebacker
It's safe to reload. Just make sure it's dry. You cant even see how dull it is when it is in the chamber lol
Farmer
Load-er-up! I had that happen when I didn’t clean my pins for the first time and they had some sort of manufacturing crud on them. Really pissed me off. They look like they are sand blasted but I ran them in the dry corncob polisher and their a little better. Not great just better. Tom S.
If the look bothers you, throw it in a dry tumbler with a bit of car polish added to the media.
Baragasam
Should be safe. I would tumble in stainless steel pin media and automotive wash & wax again if you want it shiny but since you already cleaned it I would do that after you've load and shot them
