For USPSA, if your holster has retention, you must use it like that, can’t just not lock it whenever you feel like it.

I know.

Pop it off = removed from holster

flipped open, not locked, etc= installed on holster but not closed

I had a hard time finding a holster for my 34 with a Streamlight. A buddy told me about a local guy who makes kydex holsters. He does great work and is easy to work with. He’s made 2 holsters for me and I highly recommend him. Please let him know that David from Blasdell told you about him. Safariland makes great holsters for lights. With a minimal amount of work you can learn to deactivate the retention device or you can remove it with one screw. Great products and no I’m not sponsored, just love their gear.

The Trex Ragnarok is a solid option.

Can run it super loose for USPSA style shooting or snug it down for a little more retention. Covers the trigger appropriately and doesn’t impede a consistent draw. Fits all the usual drop/offset rigs as well.

Most gamer holster companies still suck at making WML holsters…
