Abacus
I recently picked up a pound of AA2 since I was unable to find any Titegroup. AA2 has a similar same burn rate to Titegroup, so I thought I would give it a try. I am looking to load in 9MM using 124 grain copper plated bullets. Looking to keep it at a minor PF (125'ish) shooting from a Glock 34. Has anyone used this powder for 9MM minor loads and thoughts - good, bad? What powder charge is recommended? slayer61
My notes say I used 4.1 grains with a PD 124 JHP. Almost 1000 FPS from my shield. My notes also say I should/could back it down to 3.8-3.9, maybe. Does this help at all? Be safe.
zzt
AA2 will work fine, and better than Titegroup. So will Alliant Sport Pistol or e3 if you can't find any more AA2.
jubi351
I like AA2, flows like water, very consistent metering. 125gr with 4.0 gave 135PF and 3.8 gave 133PF in a Glock 34.
aandabooks
My go to production powder. 3.4gr under a SnS 147 or 3.8gr under a 125gr.
Joe4d
recently started using it in 45, If you are out of tightgroup, you probably wont go back to it. If you do I got plenty I can sell you
