2011 Vise Block

Has anyone here made a 2011 vise block for holding the frame while you clean or work on it?  

I am thinking that someone has a 3d printer vise block for the 2011.

Otherwise I was thinking about making one out of plastic cutting board material.

Just get an old magazine or buy one of the dummy magazines for dry firing.  Put it in the vice, frame on the magazine.

Good idea, never seen a 2011 dummy mag. Any idea on where to get one or who makes it? I have an old mag and maybe I will fill it with a plastic to make sure it doesn’t deform in the vise.

But looks like a 140mm.  Prob not long enough to stick in a vise.

There are some display stands that you can buy to hold the 2011 upright.  I think that can suit your needs.  No need for a vise.  I did a quick search and it seems you can get them for around $25 which is cheaper than a mag tube.

No idea if they're still around, but there was a blue plastic weighted dummy mag out for the STI a long while ago.
