Khaot1c
Does anyone have any Chrono data that's shows the difference between same charge weight of Australian Clays and Canadian Clays ? Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
Steve RA
Generally, the Canadian version requires slightly more powder - not much - to attain same velocity. In other words, it is slightly slower.
Khaot1c
I was looking at my loads for 45Auto and noticed folks talking about Canadian Clays and Australian Clays. Turns out I have some of both.Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
noylj
you can find the same variation when you switch powder lots. ANY change in powder should be addressed by dropping the charge some and working back up.
Khaot1c
I totally agree. I figured there would be a difference to charge weight. Perhaps volume too.I'll presume the powder is still temperature sensitive? Higher temps result in hotter ignition ?Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk

limitedgun
I am guessing the flannel shirts may be slowing down the CA Clays.
