MisfitGeek
I'm thinking about coming back to IDPA events this year and looking at gun choice. After reading the rules..... For the sake of argument..... Using a Glock 34 as a base gun..... For SSP I can ..... Do a complete trigger job keeping the stock trigger. Use extended after market magazines (as long as it all still fits in the box). Add magazine base plates as long as they don't increase the mag weight more that 1 oz over stock Use grip tape Then for ESP I can take the same gun and add ..... Aftermarket TRIGGER Add magazine base plates as long as they don't increase the mag weight more that 1.5 oz over stock Add a mag well (max 1 5/8) Stipple the frame Is that correct ? Thanks in advance Edited January 7, 2019 by MisfitGeek

MikeRussell
That was my interpretation as well, but I'm fairly new to IDPA.

Racinready300ex
Sounds right. I believe you can also under cut the frame in ESP. So the only significant difference in my mind is the mag well. And even that isn't really that big of a deal.
