LowBoost
I just replaced the grip on my STI 2011 Marauder. I believe the sear spring leaf is correctly installed, but I think something is obviously not right. I am able to cock the hammer, but when I press the trigger, it will not fall down. I watched several videos, none of which have a real close up. Just trying to understand what could be mechanically going on. Suggestions?
Furrly
Sear Leaf spring not on correctly, has to sit on top of the sear. Plenty of videos on YouTube on how to install. Very easy to install but also very easy to install incorrectly.
GringoBandito
Did you install a new beavertail? Edited November 8, 2018 by GringoBandito
LilBunniFuFu
Same trigger bow? Could be the over travel screw. Need more info to correctly diagnose. There is a lot that can change by changing the plastic out.
LowBoost
I did not install a new beavertail. I am using the exact parts I disassembled, except the trigger. It is a new gun as well, so I may end up sending it back to STI if I can't figure it out.

LowBoost
I'll give it a try when I get home tonight and report back.
tkane
I had a similar situation recently. The grip safety and trigger bow were binding.
LowBoost
Well, if that was the case I wouldn't be able to move the trigger. I can... which leads me to believe there is an issue with leaf spring not properly seated. Edited November 8, 2018 by LowBoost
LowBoost
Problem solved - Removed the safety and I was able to properly seat the left leaf. Thanks for the tips.
