ktyler
My 5 foot tall, 95 pound 13 year old needs a shorter stock for his 3gun shotgun. I am open to suggestions. I am not familiar with Benelli's. I know with my SX2, I just cut the stock as short as I could and put a limb saver boot on the end. It shortened the stock by 2-3 inches. Can I do this to the Benelli? Thanks for the help
CharlieD
They make a compact stock for the M2.
Dan Sierpina
You can also get thinner recoil pads.
ktyler
I will look into these options. I figure I need to lose 2 inches so he can get a bit more behind the shotgun and run it better
bluegrasspicker
If it were wood I'd cut it. With plastic I'd be concerned with splitting. A shotgun behind sharp plastic might be a bad day. I just installed flush cups in my Benelli stock, and I was surprised at how thin it is after you move forward from the end (where the pad slips on). It's thin enough that I put JB weld in to reinforce the cup.
flyfishdave
It's a pain in the arse but it is possible to cut the stock, fit a block of wood and attach a new pad. Didn't have a belt sander and pad jig so it ain't so pretty.
ktyler
I did find a compact stock. But thanks for the information. I might just try it. Keith
ecn515
Where did you end up finding the compact stock? I've been interested in those. Also is it a comfort tech or more of just a standard stock?
SteveA
Hold on to your hat, its $440 ! https://www.midwestgunworks.com/page/mgwi/prod/83201 Edited March 25, 2018 by SteveA
ecn515
Ehh, not that shocking. The Mega Kick off for my Beretta was just about as much. Anything Beretta/Benelli is expensive.

hikezone
He also looked for a long time for himself a supply for a gun. HikeZone This is not a joke, but bought on the black market. Since hunting lovers have an endless season, there will always be someone who sells. As they say the compass of survival. Good hunting friends!
