650 handle hight question

Recommended Posts

I’m sure it’s been covered numerous times, I just can’t find it, sorry.

I’m trying to figure out the right hight for my soon to be new 650.

I’m assuming shoulder hight for the roller handle, correct?

If So, I need to figure what mount will get me there.  (My bench is at 36”)

Hmmm.   My bench sits 36.5”.

My shoulders are at 58”.

I was about to get the Ultra Mount (9.5”) to get me close to shoulder hight on the handle.

This is standing.

Maybe I should consider a stool hight for shoulders.

Do a quick search. Many prefer to stand.

Yeah, standing was the initial plan.  I stand all day, so I don’t really mind.

A tall stool......or adjustable like above, might be nice to have in the bench area as well.

I stand 90% of the time and have added the rubber mats under my reloaders to help fatigue.

Bench height is 41", roller handle with higher stand is 16 inches from table top.  (47 inches) shoulder for me is 60 inches.

That should do it. Or to double check ... get in position for reloading (I stand), put arm in close to your torso and then swing your arm up from the elbow. Your palm will be at about shoulder height.
