noexcuses
S1050 is on its way;), now what do I need to get with it? Keeping the MBF from the XL650. Spare parts kit or machine maintenance kit? what about the primer slide tips? where do I get them from and part # lighting from reloading innovations? Everglades hold down die? Any others that I should get??

ultimase
Spare parts kit isn't a bad idea, but honestly 1050's run and run and run. I wouldn't worry about having extra stuff until you've run it a while. You'll have a better idea of what you'll need at that point. Mostly just have a lot of components. RileyLV
I recently got a 1050 and after using it a few times and checking out some of the info on the Internet I am ordering a Fast and Friendly shell plate: http://fastandfriendlybrass.com/shop/category.aspx/1050-shell-plates/17/ . and a Shellplate Bearing Kit: https://lvl10i.com/products/dillon-1050-shellplate-bearing-kit. There are some videos on both of these items on youtube.com and if you do a search you will find hundreds of videos on the 1050 and its accessories and operation. This one on step by step disassembly is really good: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4f-CToyfidY Enjoy your 1050!
amokscience
Lots of extra primer tubes. I bought a thumbscrew for the primer station so I could unscrew it without an allen wrench. I would do the zip tie mod. Reduces spillage significantly. Set the swager correctly then run an undecapped piece of brass in the swager station. It should feel mushy. If you ever feel that, stop and check before you accidentally double prime. I removed the ratchet on mine after a few thousand rounds. You'll see why eventually. Make sure the semi-circle stopper on the back of the primer slide is set correctly. You'll get a mystery jam sometimes if it's set wrong. There are two small holes on the case feeder where tiny particles can fall out. I fashioned and taped a couple paper cones there to catch the debris. candiru
Lots of extra primer tubes. If you're loading enough to justify a 1050 then the RF-100 is a no brainer. Completely agree with your other comments. I make sure the whole machine works before yanking the ratchet off even though that thing is so annoying. That's so if there's any problems with the machine from the factory they can't try to blame anything/anyone else.

icestud
As long as you are ordering from Reloading Innovations may as well add the Spill Stop to help with powder spillage. Check out In-Line Fabrication for the case feed stop.
