Making a stock 3 work with small hands?

I recently held my friend's Stock 2 and really loved it.

 

The only issue is that I had a harder time reaching the trigger blade on the double action because it was a bit too far forward for me. 

 

The question I have is whether there are replacement grips possible that make a stock 3 work with someone who has smaller hands like me. 

 

Also, just to confirm, is the stock 3 more or less impossible to make legal for Carry Optics since it is at 45oz limit?

For small hands, I would go with aluminium thin grips.

If you like the Stock II, but have small hands I suggest a Baby Eagle (Jericho 941), it's very similar, but with a smaller grip:

I've seen people say this but is the shadow 2 really smaller? It seems very beefy.

I think the Shadow 2 is vet similar in size to the Tanfoglio, the Shadow is slightly smaller.

Imo, I think a factory shadow 2 with the aluminum grips has a further reach then a stock 2 with curve trigger/egd grips.

I've got a pretty short trigger finger. The EGD grip panels with the curved trigger work fine for me. Follow up shots the trigger is close to the frame in single action, very short reset with the bolo interupter.
