Titan Hammer on Limited Pro legal for IDPA SSP?

I saw a youtube video today which point out the illegality of Titan hammer on Ltd Pro in IDPA SSP division, here is the rule I found from the 2017 IDPA rule book,

IDPA Rule 8.2.1.2

section C.

Magazine releases, slide stops, safety levers, de-cocking levers, hammers, and triggers, that are stock on one SSP

legal firearm may be used on another SSP legal firearm from the same manufacturer provided they are drop in replacements. Parts in this list must come factory installed on standard production firearms. Special parts that are available installed only from a factory custom shop are not eligible in SSP.

From what I understand, this rule kicks out both Delta and Titan hammer, possibly other extreme parts as well.

What do you guys think?

I am not an expert in CZ parts, but if a Shadow uses a factory hammer manufactured for a non-SSP legal model, then the Shadow is illegal too, correct?  I guess the key is that you have to pin point the specific hammer to the specific model that is SSP legal.  It can be hard...  I know people shoot their Shadow in SSP with CGW hammer, comp hammer etc, but I never know if those hammers are from an SSP legal CZ pistol or not.

You are right. However, there are actually few shadows from CZUB that came with comp hammer installed, namely shadow line and shadow orange, since we rarel see those pistols on the market,  I am assuming they made this on purpose.

You asked.

Oops.

The only way to make it legal "again," from what I understand, is to create a 43oz stock III extreme.

I know you can do it.:D

Strip the sights and safeties off... fill the grips with helium...

Here you go!

Why not remove grips completely, no rule said you can't shoot without grips:D

You can also put polymer guide rod in it, punch holes on the magazine tube, remove the rear sight, B)

However, we still have another problem here, titan hammer does not come installed on any factory pistols yet (current extreme line pistols in the States), but they will be in the future according to the Tanfoglio 2017 Catalog, I guess will just have to wait then.

Stock 3 could be made to make weight.

Nobody can prove it can't make weight with the right parts replaced, so it's legal.  Then if it's legal, the Titan hammer is legal.

Titian hammer does not come installed on current extreme line pistols we see in the States I believe. But new one does, they are on the tanfoglio 2017 catalog.

I thought the Titan does come on the extreme line.

It's a moot point for me because I'm gonna shoot my CZ all year. Maybe next year I'll switch over. I do love the Tanfo!

Current extreme has delta hammer I think. I tried both CZ and Tanfo, the grip of CZ just fit my hand better:D, but I'd like to try small frame tanfos, wish EAA will import those again.

BTW, as you mentioned in another topic, Limited Pro is no long on the EAA 2017 catalog. I checked Tanfoglio 2017 catalog, and there is no Limited pro either, seems like it was replaced by the new Stock I pistol. So, limited Pro discontinued? <_<
