Hitman321
My Shadow likes MG124 JHP's. If I rember this is at 18 yards. CZ85Combat, what are you using under those MG124's? What OAL? Was this off a rest or free hand?
CZ85Combat
Off a rest, 4.5gn of N330 OAL 1.100 , 1047 fps. I wish they would import some more N330! Edited August 3, 2016 by CZ85Combat
Youngeyes
3.9 gn of N320 with a 147gn bullet is MAX, 4.0gn & 4.1gn is not a good idea. I've settled for now with 3.9gr n-320. Avg 961 fps. 147 grain CMJ M/G bullet. 1.11 OAL. Don't think this is max. Nice recoil and no signs of pressure on the primers. What makes you sure that 4-4.1 is not good? CZ85Combat
4.0,4.1 N320 with a 147gn bullet is over the MAX recommended by the manufacturer. look for a load that is about 875-890 fps about 3.5-3.7gn N320, it will be soft shooting. No need to push the bullet faster.

valerko
I had similar problems with 165g bullets. Had to push th m faster to get decent accuracy. I'm suspecting you have sme problem with 147s barely making PF

I have to push 147's up to 140-150 PF to get all holes touching at 20 yards. At 130 the groups are OK but I am not looking for OK. Speed them up and the groups are amazing. There is some increase in recoil but after all it's a 9mm, how much recoil can there be?
SV650Squid
I just worked up some ACME coated 145 Gr coated bullets and got .8" @ 25 yards rested. 1.130", mixed brass, 3.3 Gr N320, Fiocchi primers. I don't have my notes with me, but it was ~133 PF.

You'd have to get 920fps with your 145 bullets to get 133PF. 3.3 sounds light. I am impressed by the accuracy. What gun are you shooting?
SV650Squid
Best I can do with my phone, calipers read .86" center to center. I shot this earlier this week. Gun is an ACCU Shadow. redoing my math, It's really 132.5 avg PF. Edited August 5, 2016 by SV650Squid

zhunter
I have read here before, no clue which thread, that CZ barrels like faster velocities, might want to try 125's so your velocity is higher at 130 PF
