johnbu
Went to mow the grass, started smelling oil. Engine leaking onto the exhaust. Took it apart (twice) fixed it. Took all day, killed the planned range time. Worked on raising the pistol range berm in the back yard, tractor wheels started leaking fluid. Removed both rear wheels (800# each), took them in yo town for rust repair and tubes. Took 3 days of long labor ... no range time. Went back to the berm... hydraulic hose (that was replaced last year) starts leaking fluid. Need to take it off and get a new one made. Took the equipment trailer out... brake controller error... short in the e-brakes. Need new brakes, magnets, and drums turned. Spent 3 days on it so far, nobody wants to turn trailer drums! Every time I do stuff this year...equipment breaks and range time suffers. ;(

The hard work will wait, no hurry there. read the forum AND go do some shooting! ahem... the path to success does not include my advice. like sleep, on the odd occasion, one needs to do something that is not just work. may your fixes hold for many years. miranda

jrswanson1
I haven't shot a cowboy action match in over a year due to equipment problems, specifically my revolvers being out of time. Out of five revolvers, only one is functioning properly.
Miranda
... I was told I march to the beat of a different drum. from that I have learned timing is everything in life.... are you going to learn to time your revolvers? miranda
