P320f & Dawson Sights

I keep hearing that the front sight height that comes in the Dawson set is too low. I know they have their guarantee, but what is the experience of the people here?

I do not own a 320. I have a P226 with Dawson's and as a gunsmith I install a lot of Dawson sights.

Many of the Perfect Impact sight sets I install are pretty well zeroed with 9mm 124 grain loads. I think many folks shoot the lighter bullets in 9mm, but 147 grain bullets hit a bit higher. I had to swap out the Dawson front sight on my P226 to zero it with my 147 grain handloads.

Dawson is very easy to deal with if you need to order a replacement sight under their warrenty. You simply call and let them know what the elevation error is, they do the math and send you a new front sight.

Mine is wearing the Dawson competition set and is perfect for me. I shoot the dot. The fiber is high on the Dawson's so it's perfect!

I needed a shorter front sight to zero at 20 yards with 135 grain 9mm.

The first sight I got from Dawson wasn't right for my eyes and load, but they replace it without question or problems.
