This thing looks beefy and strong! With a file? I got 170mm spacers so that I can fit it in a 140mm tube with ext base pad. Robs me of a few thousandthsPiece of sand paper taped on a flat surface is a good way to take it down a little.I would also suggest some thickness measurements so you can keep tabs on how much material your removing.
