Jake Di Vita
I just got this photo in an email. Supposably taken from the hubble telescope it is simply called The Eye of God....Awesome pic.

PhilTerry
This is a real photograph of the Helix Nebula, although it's technically not a single photograph but rather a composite image formed from several photographs taken by NASA's orbiting Hubble Space Telescope and a land-based telescope at the Kitt Peak National Observatory near Tucson, Arizona. This image was NASA's "Astronomy Picture of the Day" for 10 May 2003. The picture's "Eye of God" appellation appears to have been a title coined by an admirer of the photo due to the nebula's resemblance to a human eye, not something designated by NASA. SRT Driver
Very cool! It's nice to know that God is watching. I'll get scared if the Hubble finds a pointing finger of God or another finger, as the case my be.
diehli
Quick! Somebody hide it before Cullen sees it and makes it blink. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's just eery. As soon as I saw it I wished I had some 'puter skills so I could make it blink. God blinking... that'd explain many things. Never forget, don't take life too seriously... you'll never get out alive. cking
Just did a littler wandering through the hubble pics. Reality is awesome, it will be great when some human actually can see these things for himself.
