My minor load for my G35 is for the 180 gn Blue Bullet, 3.2 gn Titegroup at 1.135 oal. I would guess for the 165's you'd want to bump the powder up a couple of tenths to make minor.

What gun are you shooting? If it is a 1911/2011 I've heard pushing the OAL to 1.17 or 1.18 makes it more reliable. You'll need a bit more powder if you do lengthen the OAL.

This has got me intrigued. I have some hornady 165 pills which I got free when I bought my press. Was going to sell them but might load em up for 3gun. Anyone using tightgroup for light loads?

3.6 of TG with 165 BBIsnjust barely made minor when I chronoed over the weekend at 55 degrees. Gun is a stock 2 . 3.8 should do it.very accurate load. Not as softvasvthe 180s but I like the impulse ofnthe gun.

So how many 1/10 grains do you go up when developing an accuracy load.Is it worth loading at 1/10 more each set I'm working up or 2/10 per set?

If your doing a ladder test, and your well below max suggested loads, I'd go .3 increases, you should find a high and low node for accuracy, find tune after that if necessary
