Uspsa classifier in Illinois

Recommended Posts

Noob,

Chillicothe Sportsman's Club usually puts on a classifier match with 5 or 6 classifiers in April.

Also, Central Illinois Shooting Sports in Bloomington is putting on a 4 stage classifier match in March, I think.

Both are a little bit of a drive for you, but they are the only classifier matches that I know of right now.

Tri County Gun Club in Polo, IL has a classifier in March.

I haven't shot there yet, so I have no first hand knowledge of the club.

Also, NPCCC near Chesterton, IN has USPSA matches, but their schedule is not up yet, so I don't know if they will have classifiers. I have shot many steel matches there, and it is a very nice club, with good people. Only about 75 minutes for me from Carol Stream.

Later neighbor,

Bob

I shoot at TCGC all the time, you are very welcome to come try it out. Sun March 27, at least 5 classifiers.

Regular matches once a month all spring/summer/fall typically have one classifier stage with 5 or so regular stages.

I have to make one of these or both as I missed the one at Pine Tree Pistol Cub. Are both Polo, Chillicothe outdoor ranges.

Yes, I believe both are outdoors. Chillicothe is definitely. Polo I'm pretty sure they will be outdoors for it.

Yes, Polo / TCGC is an outdoor range.

OPSC is closest to Morton Grove. Maybe a half-our drive. It's roughly I-55 and 126. NISA is probably about an hour drive. Tri-County is about 20 minutes from Dixon, so probably about an hour as well. All three have web sites with calendars.
