lucas
My builder recommends bushing barrel, who's opinion I am inclined to condider. He says shooting minor does not need a heavier barrel. I am conflicted. I will be shooting factory ammo and guns like the STI DVC come with bull barrel and a long dust cover. My gun will have a short light rail. PatJones
Bushing barrels are more accurate. 9mm barrels have a smaller hole and already weigh more than .40 or .45 barrels.
ltdmstr
I would use a bushing barrel for 9mm. In fact, I just built one for 3 gun.
idHawk
I recommend the bushing barrel. I had two different 6" 2011's built last year. One with a bushing barrel and one with a bull barrel. The bushing barrel is a bit more accurate, but more importantly, I enjoy shooting it more.
11287
I did not have a choice my STI Tactical 9mm came with a bull barrel. Seems to be an extremely accurate gun for 3gun and playing around with Limited minor.
RPatton
Both will work. I see tack drivers in both. I run a 6" bushing barrel Eagle in 3gun, because it came that way and I would do it again.
