Jody Waring
Did the grip reduction and now im looking at Refinishing. How is everyone removing the paint; sanding it off, bead blasting, chemicals? Im actually considering hard chrome or bluing. Not sure yet. I appreciate the input.

midvalleyshooter
Here is a link to what hard chroming looks like. Not my guns, but very nice none the less: http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/showpost.php?p=16491509&postcount=
SDM
Blasting would probably be easier but I don't have that equipment. I used paint stripper and a brass brush chucked in a drill.

Smitty79
What would it cost to get a Tac Sport Nitrided or hard chromed? I hate the stock paint job.
eerw
depend on the prep work and finish you want. but have seen $250-$400. remember CZ frames are castings..so once the polycoat is off there can be air bubbles, voids etc that the coating is covering. SDM
APW was between 2 and 250 for chrome. I stripped the frame myself or it would have been a little more. My frame had very few bubbles/voids. You don't really notice them unless you're looking for them.
andrewtac
If you have a compressor cerakore yourself. You will need a blasting cabinet (TSC sales a cheap one). I had a compressor and got the rest of the stuff and paint for less than it cost to get one done. I am on my 6th paint job now.
