BobS761
For USPSA, I just cinch my belt like a girth strap on an easy keeper. But for 3 gun, with AR mag, two pistol mags, 3 shotshell caddies, and a holster, suspenders are a must.
Doc Neeley
I bought some belt suspenders from this outfit a couple years ago and it keeps the tweeds above the knees.

okorpheus
I've been wearing suspenders with my competition belt for several years now. But then I've been fashion impaired for quite some time. Along with keeping my pants and gear in its proper position, its helped relieve some lower back pain. I started with the Walmart Dickies brand suspenders but later graduated to Perry "Original" belt clip suspenders for USPSA. The wider straps have proven to be more comfortable. I've even gone to the Perry "Ruf-N-Tuf" with thicker webbing (for heavier loads) when shooting 3 gun. http://www.perrysuspenders.com/persus.html Bill I know this is an old thread, but do you hook the suspenders onto the inner belt or the outer, or will the clips fit around both? petrojc
I only use the inner belt to hold up my pants. I am also losing some weight, and have noticed that they are slipping down a bit more than they used to. I have ordered a smaller belt to see if that fixes the issue. GunBugBit
If the problem is flat butt then get the orthotic like Hank Hill had.

GunBugBit
Three-pronged approach: squats, suspenders, orthotic. Life will be good.
