tarosean
My last match, I missed a two target array (classics). I forgot they were there and was first up, so my plan was the wrong one.. How many points should I have been docked?
jester121
Assuming they were 2 shots per target, it's -10 (Mike), -10 (Mike), -10 (Failure to shoot at). (Not to mention the 10 points for the 2 Alphas you would have scored). EDIT: This is per target Edited May 8, 2015 by jester121
Postal Bob
You'll get 4 mikes, 40 lost points, and a 2 procedural penaltys, 20 lost points, for not engaging the targets. So you lose a total of 60 points. Edited May 8, 2015 by Postal Bob
Corey
2M 1FTE, 2M 1FTE. -40 for the 4Mikes and -20 more for the 2 procedurals
kernelofwisdom
I did that last match. Ran by a port and FTE 3 targets. I learned the true meaning of penalty pain!
f2benny
I don't feel so bad now. See if you can spot the two I missed. Hopkinton USPSA May 2, 2015:
mlmiller1
I have done that plenty of times. Worst is when youre at a major match & the r.o. is one of your best friends......you were penalized 60, I made 90. Lol. Plus the 30 pts I didnt get.....120 lower than it should have been. I had good time on the stage though. Hahaha.
mrpredictable
60 points lost to procedurals, 20 potential points missed by not getting scored hits.
tarosean
Thanks everyone.. This was probably my worst match as it was all downhill from there. Including failure to seat a mag properly during a classifier... Oh well, live and learn.
Hi-Power Jack
But, you saved a couple seconds NOT shooting at them - you're probably Way Ahead of the Game.
GunBugBit
I left a steel target standing in two stages in my first four practice matches. It hurts, especially when the score would have been decent without that completely avoidable mistake. I made notes to myself after the first incident and was really ticked at myself when I did it a second time.
