CZ Primers

Is there any reason not to use Federal primers in a CGW molded SP-01? My local store has a couple of thousand I can pick up. I am just getting started in pistol reloading so I don't have a load worked up yet, but I want to grab primers while they're still available. Other options are CCI and Winchester. Rounds will be loaded on a Dillon.

No reason that I can think of. Federals are thought to be the softest, thus you can use the ligher (8.5 lb) hammer springs that might otherwise give lite strikes on a harder brand of primer (i.e. CCI).

Personally I'm happy with a 11.5 lb hammer spring which allows me to use CCI or Win primers, of which I have quite a few.
