FishnHuntIN
I guess 140,000 miles is too much to ask from factory ball joints... And since the wonderful designers at GM decided to include the control arms with the replacement joints, I won't be getting very far on my house renovation this month... Damn it. bountyhunter
Yeah, love it. Took my Wife's Nissan in with 52k miles and find out it needs motor mounts... how bad can that be? Well, they are the "oil coupled" kind and it's over a grand. Every trip in is another fun surprise.

blind bat
WTF? I thought GM was bad when they decided to rivet their ball joints. Are you saying the ball joints are now molded into the control arms? That's worse than Ford welding alignment points /shims at the factory. Parts weren't too bad but the labor killed me. I trust the guy, so whatever.
RangerTrace
Yep. My F150 caused me to rethink my vehicle ownership goals. Turns out the BMW lease program with included maintenance isn't a bad idea for a guy with a take home work truck!!

kellymc
Not much worse then having to buy a whole interior door panel to get a handle on a lot of GM cars and trucks.
