Garmil
I'm having a constant issue with rounds jamming in my glock 22 with lone wolf barrel. They get stuck pointed up and make contact with the top of the chamber with the slide partially closed. To fix this I can hit up on the bottom of the mag and the slide closes or pull back slightly on the slide then release. I'm using factory ammo, the problem occurs between shots and loading the first round by hand. What causes this type of jam?
dskinsler83
Kinda sounds like mag springs
BrknCylncr
Have you tried dropping your factory ammo into the barrel and seeing if the ammo drops in and out with just gravity alone? (Take barrel out of slide when doing this.) Some Lone Wolfs are known to be tight, so the extractor has a hard time pulling the spent cartridge out. Take a look at your extractor as well. Could be chipped. You could also be limp-wristing the .40.
Garmil
I'm running factory 22rd with tf supercaps. I haven't dropped rounds in, haven't had a problem with extraction just with the weird angle getting hung up. Don't think it's limp wristing few people shot it had same problem. ron169
Does it do it with stock 15 round magazines? Try two or three different mags. If it runs flawlessly, it's the 22 round mag our a part of it. If it still hands, it's not the magazine
Garmil
I started with only 22rd mags and added extensions before ever using them. I just got a factory 15 rd mag I haven't shot it yet but when comparing them the 15rd sits highe, there is a noticeable difference in the angle of the slide stop with the 15 from sitting on a higher follower. Should I modify the other followers to sit higher?
bowenbuilt
If you use a longer more powerful spring in the extended, extended magazines they will automatically change the angle and work correctly, If you added an extension to the 22 round magazine you are about 4 coils too short. Garmil
The extensions say to use the factory springs. http://taylorfreelance.com/shopping/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=58 Stiffer might work though. Any idea what spring would be correct for my combo then?
bowenbuilt
Try the Wolfe replacement springs or the ISMI replacements. Both are stronger than the factory springs and may well solve your problem.

Kraj
I had that problem with my 35 and a lone wolf barrel. I sold the barrel and all my problems went away
Garmil
I did some polishing and so far it's working better. Mine is threaded, are other threaded barrels not as tight of a chamber?
Kraj
I was shooting lead in the lonewolf. I'm shooting coated 9mm out of my kkm and never had a problem
zipper046
I had this problem with one of my Lone Wolf barrels. Some of their barrels have tight chambers. I sent them some of my reloads and they reamed the chamber and it ran fine after that.
JBP55
I do not think you have a G22 problem but an aftermarket part problem which happens quite often and people blame the pistol.

JBP55
The thread states: Glock 22 Jamming rather than Problem Aftermarket Barrel.
Garmil
The title was a fact. And I did not know what the problem was, hence why I asked the question without blaming anything.
