Is a "Range Member Only" USPSA match legal?

Yes, seriously, define "open".

Long story short....at the end of the day...HQ "ain't" gonna do a dang thing.

This thread is just so much mountain out of a mole-hill, drama llama BS.

If HQ were to yank Arnold's USPSA affiliation, it is not like a group of still USPSA'ers/Arnold members couldn't still put on a "pick up" match, much like a pick up basketball game out at the town's basketball courts.

I think there is already a group of die hard IDPA'ers who still do that during the middle of the week after work, especially during the summer months.

As a side note, I remember a story told by Rick H that supposedly Michael Voigt called him directly asking if Arnold would affiliate its steel club with the newly acquired Steel Challenge. You can imagine the response.
