bkeeler
Not to be all Clinton-ish, but define "open". Yes, seriously, define "open". noun 1. a championship or competition with no restrictions on who may qualify to compete. "the venue for the British Open" adjective 1. allowing access, passage, or a view through an empty space; not closed or blocked up. verb 1. move or adjust (a door or window) so as to leave a space allowing access and view. Chills1994
Thanks Bruce! Long story short....at the end of the day...HQ "ain't" gonna do a dang thing. This thread is just so much mountain out of a mole-hill, drama llama BS. If HQ were to yank Arnold's USPSA affiliation, it is not like a group of still USPSA'ers/Arnold members couldn't still put on a "pick up" match, much like a pick up basketball game out at the town's basketball courts. I think there is already a group of die hard IDPA'ers who still do that during the middle of the week after work, especially during the summer months. As a side note, I remember a story told by Rick H that supposedly Michael Voigt called him directly asking if Arnold would affiliate its steel club with the newly acquired Steel Challenge. You can imagine the response. Edited November 4, 2014 by Chills1994
