3djedi
Barely know anything about CZ'S but do they make a pistol that would be competitive for limited use? Can you get aftermarket parts such as base pads and magwells?

alma
CZ Custom (czcustom.com) is a one stop shop for magwell, basepads, springs, and etc for your TS. The trigger will be around 2 lb or under from the factory.
3djedi
Awesome! How do they compete with 2011's? Doesn't seem to be a whole lot of them out there. Edited July 11, 2014 by 3djedi
kneelingatlas
Best kept secret around. Except for the ability to load long, I can't think of a single thing a 2011 does better.
3djedi
I looked at it on cz's site. Is it single action only or does it have that long double action first shot like the cz shadow?
Czhase
I picked up my .40 Tac Sport around the first of the year and love it. Here is a pic of mine with a few custom touches.
3djedi
Also, is the grip smaller than a 2011 or about the same. I have trouble getting a good grip on a 2011 like I can with my glock 35. That's why I'm looking for something to replace my STi. I picked up a cz 75 at my LGS and it felt great but I think the TS is a little bigger. Czhase
The TS does have a larger grip than the other 75 models, but you can buy thicker or thinner grips to fit your hands.

gdawgs56
The TS is single action only just like a 1911. Amazing trigger pull from the factory. The Tactical Sport in .40 is available all the time, but you have to get lucky to find a TS in 9mm. -Jason
BeerBaron
yes TS is single action only, but just be aware if you're used to a 1911 sliding type trigger that the TS is a hinged trigger. some don't even notice but it can be an issue for others. otherwise they are an awesome limited gun. great trigger on them, very accurate, affordable, look awesome, plenty of parts and options. grip is a little larger than a CZ75 but lots of people have done a DIY grip reduction on them, or as mentioned you can buy very thin grips for them. they are possibly not as customisable as the more modular 2011 but still plenty of options to make it work for you. alma
Easy enough to fix with a bit of Cerakote. Many like to remove the cast Checkering and undercut the trigger guard so a refinish is often required anyway. Alternatively you can just order a CTS from CZC which is already refinished in black. http://czcustom.com/cts40sandwblueinv.aspx

pivoproseem
I live in kansas city. Does CZ have a storefront? You know that CZ-USA is base in Kansas City? Look up Matt Hopkins on facebook and find out if he's shooting USPSA sometime, I'm sure he can find a TS for you to gander.
