Sandbagger123
my 2011 is set at 1 3/4 #. its how it was when i bought it. it has never followed or hiccuped. At first it seemed too light, but after shooting it for while, and getting used to it, it has spoiled me. Shooting anything heavier seems strange after this trigger. So how low can a 1911/2011 trigger go? Are uspsa guns usually set this low?
Mike21STI
They say you can safely go down around 1#. I think that is too light for most shooters. I personally like my trigger pull to be around 2.5lb
Seth
I've owned 18oz. It was lovely. If you play by the rules, it's never a problem.
Alan550
We used to run 15-16 oz. 1911s in NRA Action Pistol (Bianchi Cup) before the rule change, but when you get that low, they ARE high maintenance! They will also spoil you as you already found out!
amccallister
Mine is 1 1/2 pounds. It still makes me a little nervous (I'm used to about a 3 1/2 lb. Glock trigger) but I think I'll leave it as is for a while. Sure is easy to shoot it accurately.

Parallax3D
1.5# You just have to make sure you have good trigger dicipline.
chaosshooter00
I run a 14 oz. in Open, an 18 oz. in Limited, 21 oz in Single Stack and 24 oz. in Production. The more I have to aim, the more weight I need on the trigger. I'm a solid B shooter in Open and Limited with dreams of improvement

Loves2Shoot
My rule of thumb is as light as you can go where you can draw and prep the trigger without having a round go off unintentionally.
