Manny,

Any future plans for another Jr, Lady, Old Phart match? Had a blast shooting both back to back last year. Well, except for not realizing the bowling ball had been set to roll faster the second day.

I just checked, and the stages / website seem to be fine. Try this LINK.

****BREAKING NEWS****

I heard from Scott Hatrup (MD) this morning and he said that the prize table looks to be really good. So far there are 14 guns, with 8 more guns that are being negotiated, STI Frames, Caspian Frames, STI slides, Caspian slides, and the prize table has approximately $20,000 of retail value. He is still working on several other leads, so it will only get better. He projects that EVERY shooter will receive a minimum of $100 in prizes. (Which is the same cost as the early registration)

Little Bill,

First off, thanks for the link to the stages, that one seems to work just fine. Secound, do you know if we will have to be present on Sunday for the prize table? I am shooting on Saturday, and was planning on making the trip home on Sunday. If the prize table is really that good, and you have to be there, I might have the change my plans.

**** RV NEWS*****

For you RVers that are attending the match, there are electrical hookups on site at the range. Please notify myself, Scott Hattrup or Emanuel Bragg if you wish to stay at the range. There is a small fee per night for electrical use.

Since I'm off work & only live 100 mi away I'm going to be working to setup on Thurs & Fri and whatever "they" assign me on Sat & Sun. I hope to see/meet as many of you as possible. I'll have my nifty BE Forums nametag on the back of my hat.

Just got my RO cert in Apr, so there's no way I'm ready to RO at a match like this yet! Gonna help out however I can.

Shot this yesterday, fun match with some pretty creative stages. There was some back-ups at some of the stages (the last stage for my squad had three squads on it to shoot, about a hour and half wait) and the lunch break got real backed up as well. RO staff was great, did a great job applying the rules (my squad had 2 DQ's)

The only bad part was my shooting. Felt like I was in slow motion all day and really blew two stages. The two easiest to shoot stages 5 and 8. I had 4 mikes and a no shoot on stage 5 (the classifier) and 3 mikes on stage 8. Really got in my head and slowed me down the rest of the day.

All in all it was a fun match, I was on a great squad (Very nice to meet and shoot with Kay Miculek, great lady...good luck at the Nationals), everyone was helpful and a pleasure to shoot with. Match had great vendor support as well. I got to mess with a Brazo's limited gun....beautiful...where's my checkbook!!!

Just BARELY caught my flight out of KC, but I'm home now.

Great match. Everything ran smooth, and only waited a few minutes for one stage. The RO's did a great job, plenty of food and water were made available, the facilities were more than adequate, and the stages were very well done.

The courtroom stage turned out to be my judge, jury, and executioner, but it was still fun. Thanks to the whole Area 3 crew for a job well done...except for Manny's call on my pulled target. CLEARLY an "A"!!!! Especially after someone poked their finger through it!
