lugnut
This year I I'm focusing more on fitness during the winter- hitting the gym, tennis matches and doing more to get in shape. I no longer enjoy hitting the range when temps are in the 30s and I really try to avoid shooting much indoors. So this year I will likely have a real offseason for sure. Light dry fire and a handful of indoor matches. In the past I've switched guns and played with revolver or something else but I'm not doing that this year. I'll be super hungry in the spring! Oops. I'm not an open shooter. Maybe I need to practice my reading too! Edited November 15, 2013 by lugnut
Stev7783
Air soft pistols is a great option. I'm in CO and winter here can hinder a lot of matches. Gas blowback air soft was a great investment. I've been able to build my air soft to match my open gun perfectly. Has everything on it my open gun does expect a compensator. 9X23Guy
Well its not exactly in winter but in March we host the Alabama Sectional. Great match and great way to kick off the season. Earlier than that you need to head to Florida.
BillChunn
Tuesdays and Saturdays are practice on the heated indoor range (yesterday it was 18 outside without wind-chill factored in). The third Sunday is the match so my winter range time is limited to 8 days per month. BC
