off-season (winter) activities for open shooters?

This year I I'm focusing more on fitness during the winter- hitting the gym, tennis matches and doing more to get in shape. I no longer enjoy hitting the range when temps are in the 30s and I really try to avoid shooting much indoors. So this year I will likely have a real offseason for sure. Light dry fire and a handful of indoor matches. In the past I've switched guns and played with revolver or something else but I'm not doing that this year. I'll be super hungry in the spring!

Oops. I'm not an open shooter. Maybe I need to practice my reading too!

Air soft pistols is a great option. I'm in CO and winter here can hinder a lot of matches. Gas blowback air soft was a great investment. I've been able to build my air soft to match my open gun perfectly. Has everything on it my open gun does expect a compensator.
