N105 for 9mm major?

guys, does anyone have load data for 9mm Major with N105? It's the only powder I can find now!

I don't believe you can fit enough in a 9 case to hit Major. A buddy of mine uses that for his 38 Super and that case is almost full. Any one else with a different opinion? I know a few guys on here say they got it to make Major but others were saying they filled the case up and only got up to 160 PF.

What barrel make and length? any barrel holes or a hyrbrid?

Its a 4.5" barrel with a 2 port comp (custom xdm build).

I doubt you will make it with 3n38. I am loading 11 gr under a zero 121 in SC. 171 PF Trubore with 4 holes. Better go with 3n37 of hs6

Sounds like the case will be really full and like to spill out

but would make it. Just a pain in the butt to load.

I don't have first hand knowledge of a 3n38 load.

I've used SP-2, 3N37, Ramshot Sillouette

What OAL do you need to use with the xdm.

Most of the loads for 2011 style guns will be 1.165" or around there.

with 124/125 bullets.

You can make major with either 3n38 or N105 in 9mm.

I used both out of a shorty with 4 bbl holes. The cases are nearly full but I could fit another .3 to .4 grains if I needed to.

Its been a while but 3n38 is/was the only powder that SVI recommends for their 9 major pistols.

I made major with 3n38 with a 124jhp in 9mm. I don't see how you could even load it on a dillon without spilling most of the powder. The case was full to the top and barely made major. If you're looking for more gas try AA7. 9.8gr with a 124jhp or 10.5 with a 115jhp both at 1.168. This may not have answered your question but maybe it will give you more ideas.
