JFlowers Posted August 30, 2013 Share Posted August 30, 2013 Onepocket, If you go with the Palmetto Gun Club in Charleston you run into a couple of issues you will have to work out. One is the facility itself. With no trap/skeet range you are limited to the 10 pistol bays and maybe the rifle bay. And only on the rifle bay can you really have flying clays, even popups off poppers. Also you would have to come up with a source for additional steel. There is not enough for a full major match in the conex. Second would be timing. PGC has very few open weekend days. You would have to talk someone into giving up their weekend. And with GNG4LIFE starting up (hopefully) a monthly MG/3Gun match, the availables get slimmer. But if you are willing, I will gladly pitch in. I don't know the specifics but they must have a smokin' deal to matches on steel because everyone I go to has a bunch of it. Even the new matches.
