problems with Carver c-more mount?

folks, those of you using a Carver mount on Glocks/Xdms. Are you ever having issues of rounds bouncing off the mount or getting stuck under it? If so, how did you fix that?

I think this a common problem and part of the reason I think he recommends having the ejection port lowered. I know that is what I was told when I was looking at building an open glock

On my unfinished project xd 40 I have that exact problem. Will probably try to play with the ejector angle a little at a time. Haven't opened up the ejection port yet. Was also thinking of taking a little off of the bottom of the mount where the cases are getting stuck.

Btw, do you have a glock or xdm?

I tried tuning all variables but still ended up w/ a jam from time to time. Guess its due to inconsistencies in 9 brass. I changed to the Hunter model w/c is a bit higher w/ more room for ejection. The problem went away for good. And no, it didnt cause any difficulty in my dot index to target.

Yep, you've got to have the ejection port lowered.

Ya ejection port needs to be lowered on the verticle mounts.

Also to add I think some guys with the glocks run a 40 extractor. Suppose to have a different angle of where it ejects the case too

Yep. With my XDm. Gave away the Carver mount and use the pistol for production
