  1. I've got an RM04 which is dual illuminated with a 7 MOA dot. It works good for indoor range shooting. I haven't tried it for USPSA yet. What bothers me is that when in my house, if I am in a dark room with the gun aimed into a lighted area, the dot washes out. I'm thinking about getting a battery operated RMR just for that reason because I would like to use the gun as a carry gun also.

    Glock MOS

I just recently bought a G19 MOS and am planning to shoot carry optics with it. It currently has an RMR and Ameriglo suppressor height sights on it. The Ameriglos aren't really as tall as I would like for them to be. What sights are ya'll using on your MOS guns?
  3. So, I've sold my STI 2011 and would like to set up my Core 9mm as an open gun. My question is about the barrel. Will the stock barrel handle 9 major? Yes, I guess I would eventually get a different barrel so that I can add a compensator, but for now will the stock barrel be OK?
  4. SJC has an M&P frame weight on their web site now.
  5. I carry small Glocks but shoot an STI Trubor. Sometimes I think that I should compete with my carry gun though.

    McNally Trigger

I met a Glock armorer at a gun show today and he was installing McNally triggers. They felt amazing. He had one in a Glock 43, but I didn't see a G43 kit on the McNally web site. I wonder what he did?
  7. I just put this together about a month ago but haven't had a chance to shoot it in a match. Caliber - .40 Frame - M&P Pro 40 Slide - 5" Trigger - Apex competition kit Sights - OEM Novak black rear and green fiber front...I will be changing to red fiber soon. Barrel - OEM pro 5" barrel. I haven't meaured for group size but I was able to put 10/10 rounds in the A zone at 25 yards...3 were in the 1-2" red circle. Guide Rod/Spring - OEM guide rod and spring Magwell - SSS brass magwell Basepads - TTI 140mm in Titanium blue Grip Enhancements - Talon Grips Extras - Costa Catalyst mounted on the right side. I think I'm going to try out a Speed Ledge to help with recoil.
  8. Just wanted to say thanks to all of the sponsors, match staff, and everyone that made the match possible. The stages were fun and challenging and the Gunsta shirt is very nice. Since this was my first level 3 match, I really expected to be last in my class, but I came in 10th out of 18. I got to shoot the Polish plate rack and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Looking forward to next year!
  9. It seems that a lot of shooters are in computer related jobs...at least in my neck of the woods.
  10. My new Trubor. She took me to my first 5.xx hit factor last weekend.
  11. I'll also vote for Carver. Bobby provides excellent customer service before and after the sale.
  12. Just wanted to say that i finally received the gear that I had ordered.
  13. I placed an order on Feb. 6th and seem to be in the same boat as you. Called my credit card company and they said that he never completed the transaction, so no charges were made to my card. I guess that's OK but I really wanted the gear that I had ordered.
  14. I've used a Bladetech DOH in USPSA and 3gun and have never had any problems with it.
  15. Thanks! Finally got to shoot a classifier after a 2 month layoff.
  16. Awesome! Speed will come with comfort,...and the butterflies don't go away. Keep learning from your (and others) successes & mistakes. Since it's in your neck of the woods, don't miss this! http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=188688 With this staff, it looks to be a great match! Hats off to Brownells and the rest of the sponsors. Yeah...the match that I just shot was at South River gun club. Classification scores posted today and I am at 31.3%. Not too bad for my first go, but I know that I can do better.
  17. Hey guys! Just wanted to check back in and tell ya'll that I shot the match this month in tactical irons using an Aimpoint H-1, Rem 870, and M&P Core. I was last in the division and 76 out of 87 over all. I was going kind of slow because I'm not used to running with long guns and was worried about breaking the 180 and remembering to put the safety on. I had a lot of fun and will definitely be doing that again soon.
  18. Can I have your autograph? Congrats on being one of the top 20 shooters! LOL! Thanks Zack! I guess making the list was a good consolation prize for not making C class this year.
  19. Holy cow! That is me. I didn't know USPSA kept a list like that.
  20. I watched a video of Lena Miculek using the load 2 method and she was really fast. I tried load 2 and was not so fast. Anyway, I had $21 in Cabela's points so I bought an AP Custom 4x4 and will be looking for a good deal on a L2/4. Also, I'll be loading strong hand.
  21. Newbie here trying to get ready for my first match. I like the idea of loading 2 by dropping one in and pushing with the other shell, but I like the idea of using 4x4's or a 6 shell caddy. So, if I pull out two shells, will the other two or fours shells stay in the caddy or come flying out?
