I know many people think that the reload catch is a bit of a gimmick (and a cool one at that) but I'm beginning to wonder if there is an ancillary benefit? Afterall, if you are quick enough to perform the reload and catch the falling magazine, you have to perform the right things, at least to the point of mag seating, very quickly.
