Dr Mitch
My extractor hook tore off. While waiting for a warranty replacement, I think I should buy a back-up, which may even see use before the replacement arrives. It doesn't look like there are many extractors available for .40S&W, but some are listed 9mm/.38super/.40S&W. Will a 9mm extractor work in a .40S&W gun? Reliably? a matt
I would suggest Aftec. Got one and done.
APL-G35
Follow a Matt's advice. A virtual drop in and mine has been utterly reliable.
sandrooney
Aftec and be done with it.
tjs375
Another vote for an aftec
snake32
aftec the only way to go
Jaxshooter
Aftec and use the factory extractor for a backup.
Bob DuBois
Aftec is a little more expensive and worth it. My Super 38 open gun, my 9mm Trojan and an older third hand limited 40 gun have run 100%. Takes a little fitting but once it's there an Aftec works!
