I am using a 2" face mill. Jared turned me on to earlier in this thread. It makes such a beautiful cut and you can rotate the carbide cutters 3 times before replacing them so the tool life is long lasting and the cutters are relatively inexpensive.

I think it is the 2" but it might be a 1.5". I will check tonight and confirm in the thread.

With the LMS Mini mil is there enough room to use a rotary table or 4th axis setup if I ever go CNC to do front strap checkering?

So yes and no. There is a 4th axis setup but it would be very hard to setup to do a front strap.

You guys with all this talk of the BF20 have me thinking about an upgrade.

So for the kind of work you are doing, and if you had the extra cash. Would you still get the LMS mini or go with the BF20?
