Rob Boudrie
I'm looking for opinions on hard rifle cases - something strong enough to fly with, goot for one or maybe two rifles/shotguns. I'm familiar with the Pelican case, but was wondering if that's the best way to go.

warpspeed
I really like the Starlight cases.
George
I like the Pelican, but that’s because I use other Pelican cases in my business. I hear the Starlight are OK and cheaper. One thing I know for sure though is that Pelican cases are tough as nails. -- Regards,
Shooter Grrl
Yes Rob, Pelican is THE WAY to go!
MikeFoley
I took a rifle, shotgun, scope, and two handguns from Louisville, KY to Reno, NV in a Pelican, and my scope held zero after being rolled around airports, shuttles, and rental cars. I have no experience with the other cases, but I'm sold based on my experience with this one.
Wakal
I "own" the Squadron's weapons accounts. I have Pelican cases with six trips to the Desert under their belts (wheels?), and they are still fully functional. Amazing. Alex

Religious Shooter
Bennie Cooley was using SKB cases: http://www.skbcases.com/sports/product/sho...fleshotgun.html Personally I have a Pelican 1720. I have fitted a shortened stock 1100, 16" AR with optic and a Para/SVI into it. Haven't abused it though. I bought Pelican by the good word of mouth. Dead Buff
One of the best products I have seen is the Alpine GunCase. I don't know if these are available over states side....
